Ireland

Ireland does not issue a separate licence for immigration advisers. Immigration permissions are handled by Immigration Service Delivery (ISD), within the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration. ISD’s online Applicant Representative feature is built for legal professionals, and a firm’s first administrator on it must be a registered solicitor. The Law Society’s Find a Solicitor search lists solicitors, solicitor firms and EU lawyers entitled to practise in Ireland, and complaints against solicitors and barristers go to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority.
