Privacy

The short version: the pages set no cookies and carry no advertising; we count visits with a cookieless statistics tool. If you use the chat or email us, we keep what you send us, including any contact details you choose to give.

What the site collects

  • What you type into the chat, and any contact details you choose to give there (one is enough — an email address, phone number or messaging ID).
  • What you send by email, and your email address.
  • No account, no sign-up, no comment system.
  • Cookieless visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics (pages viewed, referring site, country, browser type). It sets no cookies and does not identify you. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no heat-mapping.
  • No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
  • No cookies set by this site.

Why we keep chat messages and contact details

To answer your question, and — if you leave a way to reach you — so that a licensed migration agent or lawyer we work with can contact you. We pass on your contact details and a summary of what you asked so they can reach you.

Chat replies are generated by an AI model, so your messages are processed by our chat service and by the AI model provider that produces the replies. Please do not put passport numbers, visa grant numbers or other identity documents into the chat.

What is loaded from third parties

  • Web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser requests the font files directly, so Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request.
  • Images from img.migrationagent.org, which is our own image host on Cloudflare R2.
  • The chat window, from chat.migrationagent.org, loaded only when you open it.
  • The Cloudflare Web Analytics script, from static.cloudflareinsights.com.

Hosting logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and to protect against abuse. We do not build profiles from it and we do not export it anywhere.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep chat messages, emails and contact details for as long as we need them to answer you, to follow up on a connection you asked about, and to keep a record of any correction they led to. There is no mailing list. To see or delete what we hold about you, write to editor@migrationagent.org.

Who is responsible

The publisher is Arrivau Pty Ltd (ABN 81 643 901 599), Sydney, Australia. Privacy questions go to the same address as everything else: editor@migrationagent.org.
