About this site
migrationagent.org explains what migration applications have to prove, and how the people who charge to help with them are regulated. It is editorial. It is not an application service.

What this site does not do
- It does not prepare, lodge or represent you in a visa application.
- It does not give immigration, legal, tax or financial advice about your individual case. Advice about your circumstances has to come from someone licensed in the destination country — see the destination table on the "Who can advise" page.
- It does not rank, recommend or take payment from immigration agencies, law firms or consultancies, and carries no advertising.
- It does not predict outcomes. No one can tell you a visa will be granted.
How facts are handled
- Every guide names the primary source it relies on — the department, the regulator or the legislation — and links to it.
- Every guide carries the date the facts were last checked. Immigration rules change without notice, and a figure without a date is not usable.
- Where a source is ambiguous or the departments disagree, the guide says so rather than picking a tidy answer.
- Coverage is currently 8 destinations. Where the site has no reliable source for a question, it does not answer it.
If you find something out of date or wrong, write to the editorial address above with the page and the source. Corrections are made on the page and the check date is updated.
Stuck on a case?
Ask about your case
Tell us what you are applying for and where you are stuck. You will get a plain answer about what the application has to prove — not a sales pitch.
Ask about your caseGeneral information, not immigration advice for your case.
